In Fantastic Checkers Go, players begin on an 8x8 board with each side having 12 pieces. These pieces are restricted to diagonal movements initially, with the ability to move forward and capture opponent pieces. Once a piece is "crowned" or becomes a "king," it gains the capability to move in both forward and backward directions. Capturing opponent's pieces is achieved by jumping over them. Victory can be claimed by capturing all of the opposing player's pieces or leaving them with no legal moves.
